Bring teamwork, self-care and nursing humour to your staff room with Nursing Skills Bingo, Med-Surg Team Edition. This two-week challenge uses nine big blocks and contributions from different team members. Keep one board per team, fill all nine squares and celebrate together.

How it works

Use existing staffing lines or make teams with similar staff numbers and scheduled shifts. Include day, night, part-time and casual colleagues. Set a two-week start and finish date and post one board per team in the staff room for the whole round. Print only the pages you need.

Choose from the 14 prepared boards, or customize your own. For the fairest prize round, give all teams the same prompts. Different boards work well for a casual team challenge. Agree on suitable swaps before starting.

As tasks and funny wins happen during the round, tick a square and add the contributor's staff name or initials and date. Count each completion once. The centre is earned, not free. All nine squares equal BINGO, and every team finishing by the deadline receives one prize-draw entry after the host checks the staff entries.

Self-care prompts include drinking water, taking a meal break, asking for help and going to the bathroom when needed. Choose prompts that suit your team. Type into the team, date, staff-entry and custom-prompt fields and click the checkboxes in a compatible PDF reader, or print and complete by hand.

Care comes first. Count only clinically indicated care within each nurse's role, competence and workplace policies. Never arrange care for the game. Include staff names or initials only; keep patient information off the cards. This is a team activity, not a clinical competency assessment. Prizes are arranged by the host and are not included.

Digital download. No physical item will be shipped. Print single-sided at Actual Size / 100%, in colour or greyscale. Preview images use one faint diagonal NURSIFY watermark; the purchased PDF has only its normal small branding. Lifestyle images are illustrative mockups with sample entries on the customizable boards.
